3. The sample can be placed on different horizontal surfaces in the box, but it must not touch the box or contact each other. The distance between the samples should not affect the free fall of the salt spray on the surface of the test, and the droplets on the sample should not fall on other samples. For new inspections or tests with a total test period exceeding 96h, the sample may be allowed to shift.

4. The sample holder can be made of glass, plastic and other materials. The material for hanging the sample cannot be metal, but artificial fiber, cotton fiber or other insulating materials.
