New Progress of Composite Plastic Packaging Technology in Foreign Countries

Foreign countries have also made rapid progress in the development of composite plastic packaging. For example, CT materials have been successfully formulated in Japan as a plastic for food packaging containers. This kind of plastic is a new type of composite material made by blending talc powder produced in Liaoning Province, China, with half the amount of large paper in polypropylene plastic. The characteristics of CT are high temperature resistant, its function is similar to that of foam plastic products, but its volume is equivalent to only a quarter of the latter, which can alleviate “white pollution”.
Rapeseed plastic packaging materials: Recently, U.S. researchers researched and developed an easily decomposed rapeseed plastic packaging material. It extracted three genes that could generate plastics from cells that made biopolymers and then transferred them to rapeseed plants. After a period of time but a plastic polymer liquid is produced, a rapeseed plastic can be obtained after further processing. Plastics or fast food packaging materials made from such rapeseed plastics can be self-degraded.
Wheat plastic packaging material: This is the use of wheat flour, glycerin, glycol, silicone oil, such as mixing and drying, and then through 150kg pressure per square meter plus pressure into a translucent heat plastic film, can be used to decompose microorganisms.
Wood powder plastic packaging materials: Not long ago, Japanese scientists and technicians developed a wood-foil plastic packaging material from pine wood, taken out of wood flour, and reacted with isocyanate to produce polyurethane. This wood flour plastic has a very high heat resistance and can be used to make temperature-resistant packaging bags. This packaging material can be biodegraded.
