The thin-film evaporator technology for coatings developed jointly by Shanghai Huasheng Chemical Co., Ltd. and Beijing Xinte Technology Co., Ltd. has passed the appraisal of the expert group a few days ago. Experts agreed that this technology has filled the domestic gap.
In 2002, China promulgated the "restrictions on the amount of harmful substances in solvent-borne wood coatings for interior decoration materials" and imposed strict limits on the free TDI content in coatings. In order to meet the standard, many domestic paint companies have to purchase a large number of imported film evaporators that are relatively expensive. The achievements made by Shanghai Huasheng Chemical Company and Beijing Xinte Technology Company will help China's paint industry to reduce costs and enhance market competitiveness.
