Ceravyn (or Sara) from Finland is such a fan. She also admitted that it was purely because of her own boring. But slowly, this boring pastime quickly became a pleasure, a random skill she could learn on her own. Ceravyn said she likes to explore how things work and why they work. She found that the best way to find the answer is to take things apart and see what's going on inside.

But this time, because he owns a Prusa i3 style 3D printer , Sara decided to design and 3D print a conceptual type of pin lock device. In order to explore how it works, her 3D printing studio will open a window to make the internal operation of the marble body clearly visible, allowing people to intuitively understand how it works, or it can be used to improve people's Unlock skills. All parts of the model, including the plug and the outer casing, were printed using PLA material at a fill rate of 10% and a layer height of 0.2 mm. For the drive pins and key pins, the layer height is set to be smaller by 0.1 mm because of their smaller size and higher precision requirements. As for the spring, she used it from the ballpoint pen. This model does not include the key because it is mainly for practicing keyless unlocking. But if you want to print a usable key in 3D, it's not a bad idea.

Although Sara is currently learning how to use 3D printers, she has known this technology for several years. The first time she saw a 3D printer was at a local maker event, a new Mendel 3D printer. Her first major design and 3D printing project was the marble lock device, which used Solidworks. Previously, she did not have formal 3D modeling or CAD training.
