Treatment of common faults of laboratory electrolyte analyzer

1. How to solve when the detector fails

There are four reasons for the failure of the detector:

â‘ The plug of the detector is loose from the base of the motherboard;

â‘¡The detector itself is broken;

â‘¢ The fixing screw on the valve core and the rotating shaft of the motor are not fastened in place;

â‘£ The spool itself is too tight to turn. The inspection order is â‘¢-â‘ -â‘£-â‘¡.

2. Reasons and treatment methods of poor suction

There are four main reasons for poor sample suction. Check along the line of "from simple to complex";

â‘  Check whether there is any leakage in the connecting pipe of each interface of the pipeline (including the connecting pipe between the electrodes, between the electrode and the valve, and between the electrode and the pump pipe), this phenomenon is manifested as no sample suction;

â‘¡Check whether the pump tube is sticky or too fatigued. At this time, a new pump tube should be replaced. The phenomenon is that the pump tube makes an abnormal sound;

â‘¢ There is protein precipitation in each pipeline, especially at each joint. This phenomenon is manifested by the unstable positioning of the flow speed process. Even if a new pump tube is replaced, the solution is to remove each joint and clean it with water.

â‘£ There is a problem with the valve itself, so check carefully.

3. The cause and treatment of electrode drift and runaway

â‘  The most common cause of electrode drift is that the ground wire is not connected well, and the ground wire should be checked; check whether the drift electrode silver rod is not inserted into the signal socket or has poor contact;

â‘¡ The voltage is unstable, it is best to connect the UPS uninterruptible power supply or a good quality regulated power supply (poor quality regulated power supply will cause electrode drift);

â‘¢ Avoid electromagnetic interference, equipment with larger power should be far away from the instrument as far as possible, and the power supply should be set independently;

â‘£Check whether the standard solution and cleaning solution have been used up; check whether the reference filling liquid in the flow cell is too little, and it should be filled in time;

⑤ When the Na and pH electrodes drift, the glass electrode cleaning solution should be used for cleaning. Rinse with distilled water again and again;

â‘¥If all the electrodes drift, you should check whether the reference electrode is expired;

⑦Poor positioning results in that the solution is not completely submerged in the electrode, and the positioning operation should be performed again;

⑧There are bubbles above the reference electrode, pat the flow cell gently, and move the bubbles above the Na electrode;

⑨Reagent expired or contaminated, check A, B standard solution and cleaning solution bottle, whether there is flocculent precipitation.

4. What to do when the electrode slope decreases

The low slope of the electrode will cause poor test linearity and sometimes affect the repeatability of the electrode. The main reasons are:

â‘  Excessive protein adsorption on the electrode membrane plate;

â‘¡ The air humidity is too high;

â‘¢ The temperature is too low;

â‘£Life is approaching.

In the fourth case, the user needs to replace the electrode. The first type can be treated with a deproteinized solution. The Na and pH electrodes have special cleaning solutions. The remaining electrodes can be a protein cleaning solution prepared by dissolving a protease in 30m10.1M hydrochloric acid. Use the first cleaning function of the service program to repeatedly clean to remove the protein, and then rinse with PVC cleaning solution several times. After the calibration is stable, measure the sample.

The second and third situations mainly affect the Na and pH electrodes. If the air humidity is too high, a dehumidifier should be used for dehumidification; if the temperature is too low, the temperature can be increased indoors. If these two conditions are not available, you can use a hair dryer to heat and dehumidify the Na electrode, pH electrode, and signal board before the measurement.

5. Reasons and solutions for outliers in test blood samples

When testing blood samples, if abnormal values ​​appear, check as follows:

â‘  Whether there are high-power electrical appliances nearby or leakage current (such as centrifuge, refrigerator), causing voltage fluctuations;

â‘¡ Inhaled blood coagulation during the test;

â‘¢If the solution is not in place, you can check whether the positioning is good. If the solution is not in place, you can use the relocation procedure in the service program to relocate;

â‘£Check whether the container holding the blood sample is contaminated and whether there is any substance such as disinfectant remaining;

⑤Check whether the correction factor is correct, if there is any abnormality, you can remove the correction factor;
