In fact, these things can be avoided as long as our production staff has some understanding of the Shanghai printing press.

As for a manuscript printed by a magazine, because of some problems in the production process, when an output center was opened, it was found in the RIP that there was a missing word in the file, but the output printing company personnel could not check the problem. . Lastly, the magazine said that because of the use of pirated characters in this output center. Later, they took the manuscript to the output of the new generation printing company's center, and the same problem also occurred. Fortunately, the technical level of this side is relatively high. After careful examination, it was found that several "implicit spaces for advertising printing" were not deleted. After the deletion of the space, Shanghai Printing has no such problem. This problem, which was very simple for the production, caused the output center to suffer badly. It also caused the publishers of the magazines to run around. It also delayed the time and almost missed the date of printing.

The output center is very helpless, but we have noticed that if there is a problem with the printing of the Shanghai document, it will be the design of the biggest loss. These delays are all small things, but it is really a mistake for the printers to wait until the final printouts come out before digital printing is found. General business card printing matters needing attention
1, Mac production users do not use Beijing, Song, FangSong, Hei, Kai and other system fonts, such as use will not be able to output or output CD print garbled.
2. Pictures Do not make RGB pictures, such as using the output is not correct (may be out of print grayscale or other non-customer wanted color).
3, such as customer use of textile printing English fonts more, especially for some of the less commonly used books, please print out the best color printing into the disk, in order to facilitate the http:// output.
Freehand3.1
1. When the Chinese character distance is negative, it is easy to cause the Shanghai business card printing text to overlap.
2, the correct use of "fill and stroke" function, easily lead to "paste". If you draw a wide word, press the same word on a no-effect Shanghai packaging design (Apple +=, choose effect=none) and use the “fill and storke” to imprint the text.
Note the "overprivt" option.
3, freehand carbonless paper to do the gradient, the output accuracy of the document should be changed to 2400dpi, so that the gradient will be better.
4, "Tuan-Pattern" is a kind of dot-matrix chart filled with scratch card, after the output of its color is a solid color, can not be screened. For example, the file is set to light green of C10Y10, the screen display screen is normal, but the output is C100Y100 dark green.
5. TIFF images printed in excess of a certain number of envelopes cannot be placed in Freehand 3.1 and the drawing will be spent.
6. After a TIFF or EPS image has been placed in Freehand 3.1, the digital print format of the image has changed (such as TIFF becomes EPS or poster design EPS becomes TIFF). Freehand file may not be opened.
7, if the placement of the map and changed a Photoshop PSD diagram, Freehand file will not be reported when opened, but the output of the Shanghai advertising design company map is not.
8, Freehand3.1 can not automatically update the image link, so the figure has been placed after the change of size, Freehand can not see the change. However, after exporting the file to the hanging flag design center, the size of the figure has changed. Therefore, after the map is changed, it should be re-placed in Freehand.
Freehand8.0 9.0
1. In Freehand 8.0, the “transparency” of the sample design effect is not exactly the effect of the screen display, but it is the result of the transparent filter after the end of the country. It should be used with care.
2. When Freehand 8.0 enters the black text on the disc, the black text is automatically selected after the “imprint” is converted into a black curve. However, when the printing factory fills it with a color, the black is pressed. The printing options are still selected, so the color words are also imprinted, and on the basis of all the special effects are also imprinted. And the average producer doesn't notice this in magazine printing. When the output is requested, the imprint effect is displayed on the screen and it is carefully checked. Using back-end separations can avoid this problem.
3. In Freehand, there is a tool for cutting picture glass, which cannot be used. The graphic image will be restored by re-linking (automatic update).
PageMaker6.0 6.5
1, Chinese characters in addition to 'italics' can be used, other propaganda design effects are error-prone. Especially 'Underline' and 'hollow effect' cannot be realized correctly: 'Bold' will cause stencils, 'hollow effect' fonts will not be hollowed out, Hanyi's Shanghai printing factory will use 'underscores' when inserting horizontal lines. In (Front typeface can be 'underlined').
2, in the text effect dialog box, the word spacing value can not be too small, otherwise it will cause overlapping characters.
3, if you use a composite Shanghai sticker printing font, please bring together the composite font file in the output, to prevent the appearance of the font and content inconsistencies.
4, to avoid the use of space to align text, use the 'Tab' key and adjust the position in the 'indentation, manual printing tab'.
5. In Pagemaker 6.0, the gray card company's text is sometimes imprinted if it is set with the default percentage of black. The design should be repackaged to define a gray color or how much of a new definition of black is used.
6, to ensure that all images have links. Poster design images without link information can only be output at 72dpi.
7, PageMaker file will be automatically linked to the first open in this folder, if there are different images of the same name in a different folder, open the file card design may be linked to the wrong figure.
8. If the linked image is changed, the newly created file size may not be the same as the original one, so that the digital printed image may be deformed after relinking.
9. Avoid copying images or graphics directly from other production software. Carbonless copy paper is applied to PageMaker. Use the 'Placement' command to place a graphic flyer design image. Directly copied graphic images cannot be output separately.
10. When a large TIFF image or TIFF image with a very high accuracy is placed in PageMaker, the output image scratch card will be doubled as a horizontal image, and it can be saved as EPS.
11, after the placement of the EPS map, to avoid the ad design of the EPS map fill, otherwise the hair will be according to the color output or output of the color is wrong.
12. The CD-printed EPS image set in PageMaker cannot be a JPEG-compressed EPS image, otherwise the output will be a gray block.
13. When using EPS images output by Freehand or Illustrator,

14. Screen-printed objects that are completely outside the page cannot be output, and a portion of it must go inside the page before it can be output.
15. When grayscale TIFF images are placed in Freehand, the nature of the image can be changed (Apple + I) to become a bottom-perspective image. However, when an EPS image is generated and placed in the PageMaker envelope print file, the original grayscale image (with white background) is still linked during output. Only the original grayscale TIFF image can be changed to black and white. After replacing it in Freehand, the EPS image is regenerated, and it is output after being replaced in PageMaker.
Quark
1. The white color of the software itself has the problem of printing knowledge and technology. It is easy to turn black when outputting, and you should set a new white color when using it.
2. Objects that are completely outside the page cannot be output. You can place graphics, lines, or file blocks on the page a little bit.
3, Quark automatically set "trap", in the color or image background non-pure black body words will also trap leaks, so if it is a relatively small font will have more obvious bold.
Illustrator
1. The sticker graphic produced by Illustrator itself should be adjusted to 2400 points in the “Properties” dialog box. Otherwise, the figure is likely to appear as a polygon (that is, it is not sufficiently delicate and angular).
2, if you use gradients in Illustrator, the following options please select:

English version: "file" - "document" - "Compatible Gradient and Gradient Mesh Printing"
3, Illustrator output is a color printed EPS file, black text, graphics should be selected black imprint.
4. Illustrator has the function of converting RGB images to CMYK, but the color effect is extremely poor and cannot be used.
5, Illustrator9 has transparency Transparency option, output or generate EPS should be where 'print/expect' is set to the highest.
CorelDraw
1. The graph placed in CorelDraw, if rotated, may output fragmentation or image defects.
2, selected 'overprinting' objects will be imprinted.
