Overview

This construction guide clarifies the general requirements for the construction of acrylic materials on the basis of cement concrete. Pay attention to the points and methods. This guide is for reference only.

1.0 Basic requirements

1.1 Cement concrete foundation, with no less than C25 and no less than 150mm thick, is recommended to be laid in the concrete foundation structure. There must be drainage ditches around the concrete surface, and the concrete surface can not be wiped. The ordinary texture surface is ideal. Cast concrete or reinforced concrete according to the actual conditions of the site construction, and should cut the expansion joint in the right amount.

1.2 If there is no moisture barrier layer in the cement infrastructure and it is confirmed that there is no anti-water phenomenon on the foundation, acrylic acid may be applied after properly treating the foundation.

1.3 The alpine region should consider adding a warm layer to the base structure to resist the freezing of the winter.

1.4 Basic technical requirements:

1. Flatness: The height difference of a four-meter ruler does not exceed four millimeters.

2. Slope: It is controlled between 5 and 8 inches, of which the tennis court can only use single slope.

3. The cement concrete number is not lower than C25.

4. After the cement concrete is completed, it must be maintained for 28 days before it can be built. However, it can usually be constructed after about 14 days of maintenance.

1.5 Basic treatment before construction

1.5.1 Comprehensive inspection of basic quality:

The foundation before construction must not contain oil, loose parts, empty shell parts, and no grass roots or other foreign materials that may affect adhesion. Once the above phenomenon is found, it must be dealt with. Clean up the oil, remove the roots from the grass, and loosen and empty the shell until the entire site presents a dense, flat, hard surface. Cement concrete must be ground and pickled, diluted with industrial phosphoric acid or hydrochloric acid, and poured onto a concrete surface for fifteen minutes and then rinsed with a high pressure water gun.

1.5.2 Polishing of cement base:

There will always be laitance, dust or dirt, and even bird droppings on the surface of the concrete foundation. These foreign materials will block the pores in the concrete. If it is not removed, it will hinder the penetration of the acrylic material into the pores of the concrete. This will be The reasons behind the acrylic coating's peeling and delamination are later. It is therefore necessary to clean up any foreign material on the basis of the cement that may affect the acrylic and the base bond. The method of thorough removal is to use a water mill for grinding, not only to remove the foreign material, but also to polish the high point of the abruptness of the site.

1.5.3 pickling of cement base:

After the grinding is complete, pickling is required. Pickling is an important step to further roughen and purify the foundation of cement. Use 85% of industrial phosphoric acid or 37% hydrochloric acid, dilute it with clean water, and apply it on the cement surface to allow it to fully corrode the cement surface. After fifteen minutes, use a high-pressure water gun to clean the entire site. Pickling and washing with high pressure water guns cause the cement base to be eroded by acid, and the debris in the pores is also cleaned as far as possible, making the cement foundation not only clean, rough, but also free of debris in the pores.

If the concrete foundation surface does not have any foreign matter, it may not be polished after being approved by the construction engineer, but the amount of acid used for pickling should be appropriately increased. However, in any case, it is still recommended to grind the cement base.

It is important to note that the site must be thoroughly cleaned and there must not be a bit of acid residue, otherwise there will be serious quality problems with acrylic coating and cement base delamination in the future.

1.6 Weather requirements during construction.

1.6.1 The weather must be sunny during construction and do not apply during rainy days.

1.6.2 When the temperature is lower than 10°C and higher than 35°C, it is not suitable for construction.

1.6.3 The relative humidity of the atmosphere is greater than 85%, and it is best not to apply it.

1.6.4 The basic maintenance time is not enough or the water content is greater than 5% should not be constructed.

1.6.5 The foundation is not cleaned or constructed.

1.6.6 It is also best to postpone the construction of windy weather.

2.0 acrylic concrete base oil construction

2.1 Primer Function Description

Primer is a bridge between the acrylic coating and the cement base. The base oil itself is also a pure acrylic material. The bond between the acrylic coating and the acrylic coating applied later is the combination between the same materials. The absolute bond is strong. At the same time, it can penetrate into the pores of the concrete and The water-tight bonding between the concrete forms ensures a strong bond between the entire acrylic coating and the cement base, fundamentally avoiding delamination, delamination and peeling of the acrylic coating. "Bao Liwei" acrylic concrete base oil (PW-001) has a special formula, has strong permeability, strong adhesion and moisture-proof waterproof function, is the key to the quality of the entire acrylic structure layer.

2.2 Material ratio

The acrylic concrete base oil (PW-001) and clear water are configured as follows:

PW-001 : Clear Water = 1 : 8~10

2.3 Stirring instructions

After the material is configured, stir it thoroughly with a stirrer to avoid uneven mixing of glue and water.

2.4 Construction

The acrylic base oil (PW-001) diluted with a spray gun or roller coater was applied to the cleaned and ground cement foundation. The cement base does not have to be thoroughly dried but it cannot have clear water. The acrylic base oil can quickly and thoroughly penetrate into the concrete capillary by means of the lubrication of water to form a strong bond, avoiding delamination or peeling of the later coating. 2.5 Drying and curing time

After the construction of the acrylic primer layer is completed, it generally takes 4 to 8 hours to dry and solidify. Do not step in before drying.

2.6 Precautions

If the cement base is too dry during the construction of the base oil, the effect may not be good, because the base oil cannot fully penetrate through the lubrication of the water. In addition, the bottom layer must not be too thick.

3.0 Repair of Loose Shells and Expansion Joints

3.1 If there is a problem with loose shells in the foundation, the large depressions that appear after cutting and eradicating must be unfilled. If the depth of the dent is more than 10mm, in order to shorten the time required for the repair, the following two repair schemes are recommended:

First, the program: polyurethane adhesive and black particles

Firstly, a thin layer of primer oil is coated with a polyurethane adhesive, and the polyurethane adhesive and the black rubber particles are mixed and stirred in a ratio of 1:6. After spreading, they are spread in the depression and leveled with aluminum alloy rods. After that, it is really shot with a trowel. Do not add any thinner. Add driers as appropriate. Generally 24 hours can be cured and dried.

Note: If the depression is too deep, it is recommended to use small particles of black rubber particles that will not cause the site to be too soft.

II. Option 2: Acrylic Leveler (PW-002) and Quartz Sand

The acrylic leveler (PW-002) and quartz sand are configured as follows:

PW-002 : Quartz Sand: Water = 10 Gallons: 50 kg: 10 Gallons

After the mixture is fully stirred and evenly spread, it is paved in a depression, flattened with an aluminum alloy rod, and then scraped evenly with a scraping scraper.

Note: Quartz sand uses a coarse grain size. The repair effect is good, but the drying time is longer.

When time permits, it is recommended to repair it several times. The thickness of each patch should not exceed 2mm. The reason is that if the one-time repair is too thick, the curing time will be longer. At the same time, it is also worried that if the construction staff does not dry when the surface is dry, it will be judged to be in error. It is thought that all of them are completely dry, and then the next layer is applied to cause the final coating to crack. Drum or delamination.

3.2 Repair of Expansion Joints

If the width of the expansion joint exceeds 5 mm, repair can be performed using any of the above two methods. However, if the width is less than 5mm, this need not be repaired. Simply fill in the flats of acrylic during construction.

4.0 Construction of Acrylic Smoothing Layer

4.1 The role of acrylic smoothing layer

After the pits are repaired and the acrylic base oil is completed, an acrylic smoothing layer must be applied. Acrylic smoothing layer is the cornerstone and support layer of acrylic structure. It is not only the real personal protective layer of cement foundation. It thoroughly seals the foundation of cement, and at the same time it contains a certain thickness of quartz sand, and a slight unevenness to the cement foundation. Has a certain leveling effect.

4.2 Material ratio

The material used for the leveling layer is a mixture of PolyWay acrylic smoothing agent (PW-002), 40 to 70 mesh quartz sand and clean water. The material configuration is as follows:

PW-002: 40~70 mesh quartz sand: water = 10 gallons: 50 kg: 10 gallons

4.3 Stirring instructions

After the materials are proportioned, full agitation is essential. Stir with a mechanical stirrer until the materials are completely dispersed. During the material collection during construction, constant mixing is also required to ensure uniform mixing and the leveling of the blended material is facilitated.

4.4 Construction

The above mixed material is poured from the one end of the ball in the length or width direction of the pitch to form a stack, which is scraped evenly with a plastic squeegee. Do not form a "sand mark" composed of sand particles. When the squeegee is moving, the pace should be moderate and should not be too fast or too slow. If it is found to have sand marks after drying, it must be leveled with a spatula.

Leveling agent construction layer is generally 1 to 2 layers, depending on the basic conditions. Two or more layers are recommended to use orthogonal direction construction.

4.5 Drying and curing time

The leveling layer generally takes more than 4 hours to dry, and the drying time is prolonged when the temperature is low and high humidity. Do not step in before drying.
