Battenfeld Zhenxiong Film Production Line Trials Successfully

The first three-layer co-extrusion blown film production line of Battenfeld's recently shipped BJS is equipped with three high-efficiency air-cooled CONTRACOOL extruders, two 65mm screws and a 90mm screw, and the length-to-diameter ratio L/D is 30: 1. The precise heating and cooling control of the ConTRACOOL extruder ensures a stable and uniform plasticizing temperature. The ConTRACOOL system on this line is also equipped with a smooth-barrel feeding section and a newly improved Battenfeld VLB barrier screw. Other advantages of the ConTRACOOL extruder include mechanical space savings and an improved low-noise operating production environment.
Like all parts of the production line, Battenfeld Groste's market-leading 400mm diameter OPTIFLOW LP low profile dies have been designed by Battenfeld to better meet the requirements of the Chinese market. The low-profile three-layer co-extruded OPTIFLOW die reduces the filling time of the material in the die and directly improves the quality of the extruded film. In addition, this design also makes it possible to use a wide range of viscous substances to process more types of products. In order to improve the quality of the final product, the production line is also equipped with an automatic film thickness control POLYCOOL 900 AUTOPROFILE air ring. In addition to the die and the air ring, the newly developed small-friction CALICAGE foam stabilizer and the newly designed POLYGLIDE herringbone allow the blown film process to perform more smoothly and accurately. In addition, the patented DIGISonIC IBC internal cooling system from Battenfeldgrowth provides automatic film width control and an increase of 30% in production. The fully-automatic 1021 surface winder completes film leveling and automatic roll change operations. Battenfeld's industry-leading EXTROL control system performs well for temperature control, in-line thickness measurement, thickness profile control, and every other part of the single point console production line. The user interface is easy to learn and also allows exceptional detail control of each function and process parameter.
