Especially when the large-scale concurrent access brings the business volume of each core part of the network to increase, the number of visits and data traffic increase, the corresponding processing power and computing intensity also rapidly increase, which causes overload of core network equipment, network bottlenecks and Problems such as network congestion. In this case, simply pursuing high-performance hardware to solve the problem will undoubtedly cause high cost investment; and, no matter how excellent the equipment is, it will not be able to cope with the current and future fast-growing business demands. Therefore, studying the practical application of load balancing technology in the network teaching environment has become an important means to solve the above problems.

Project Overview:

The technical college is a private tertiary college recognized by the Ministry of Education, with more than 7,000 teachers and students.

Facing the education network informationization, the college has established a perfect modern digital library system. The system integrates a number of subsystems, such as the college automated book query system, the China Journal Net database, Weipu periodicals, Chaoxing books, scholar books, CNKI and so on.

All servers in the system are running Web applications, APP applications, and database services at the same time; and differences in resource utilization and server configuration also cause differences in server load. For example, the servers of the China Journal Network and the Superstar e-book server are overloaded and cannot provide high-performance application services, while the e-book server of the scholars is generally loaded.

Moreover, due to different applications, chaos and no planning, the system load remains high, but the number of concurrent users is not up. For example, the download traffic of the attached CD is bursty, you can consider using the least connection number algorithm to provide services; the library bibliographic retrieval flow is stable, the server resource is small, and the polling algorithm can be considered; the academic journal server uses the priority algorithm The server priority of full-text data is high. These are not considered in the previous deployment.
