2010 glass bottle industry development data brief analysis

From January to December 2010, the output of daily-use glass products and glass packaging containers for daily-use glass manufacturing enterprises above designated size nationwide was 1993.14 million tons, a cumulative increase of 20.05% year-on-year, an increase of 28.92% over the same period of last year. Among them: Shandong Province has output of 3,487,900 tons, Sichuan Province, 3.424 million tons, Hebei Province, 1.723 million tons, Guangdong Province, 1,634,500 tons, and Henan Province, 1.271 million tons. The above five provinces accounted for 57.9% of the national output. The output of more than one million tons is also in Jiangsu Province and Hubei Province. The output of the two provinces was 1,174,200 tons and 1,091,700 tons respectively. January to December 2010, China's daily glass industry 22 principal products exports 4.181 billion US dollars, an increase of 30.21%.
